STWI has started 29 projects that includes total of 277 manufacturers, brands from Turkey, Bangladesh, China, India and with business and government collobration. Cross textiles was a part of this big project.
Our aim in this cooperation was to take the measures to reduce the use of resources in the textile industry, to create road maps for reduction targets and to share the results of the implementation of these road maps. The project subjects were decided by STWI as 3 main sources of energy consumption, water consumption and chemical consumption.
We have contributed to the outputs of this cooperation by integrating 17 energy reduction projects, 8 water use and 4 chemical reduction projects within our company.

These 29 projects, we achieved a total of 1,330,000 kg of CO2 equivalent carbon emission reduction, 1,280,000 m3 equivalent of Water Footprint (Water Scarcity Potential) reduction and 45,800 m3 Clean Water Consumption reduction. With these projects we realized, we were awarded the BEST APPLICATION IN CHEMICAL CATEGORY in 2015 and the BEST APPLICATION IN ALL CATEGORIES in 2016.
